My Blog - ok, maybe not interesting.

    Put it off forever, guess I could set one up here, but opted for a simple, ready made blog. I am sure I will tweak it, make it prettier and more functional, but for now it is up and I hope to update it for those who might care about my occasional rants :)

    *grins* Happy new blog day to you!

    *Big grin* Yeah! No more AOL. Blah. Never liked it. Had to have to for a month in the new house because we didn't have DSL available at the time. *shudders* It was like camping without electricity. lol

    When do you think you'll know about the new internet show? Sounds awesome.

    Checked it out, looks cool.

    Just curious, how did you use your AOL account to reactivate it?

    I used them back when they were Q-Link. The way the dropped the Commodore community left a major bad taste in my mouth, so I was never tempted. Now I donate my "free" AOL disks to a teen for flippies. Got some cool CD cases for the trouble too.

    I was told my account would expire at end of that billing cycle, a couple weeks, I was not told that logging in reactivated it. Thats how they got me. I basically told them when they tried to keep me on that I was using the internet when it was a dos prompt, so cancel my account or put someone smarter on the phone.

    Thanks for visiting there guys, leave a comment if you like, make it look active. Its just a blog, but I hope to make it fun with comments on some daily news here and there and my boring life :)

    We are unsure of the internet show, the 3 of us are going to have a talk, we can move it to a subpage here, count downloads, etc. Nice thing is we wont be stuck to a format, we can break when we want, end when we want. Some weeks 30 minutes might be nice, others, 2 hours. Stay tuned, we hope to do something with it.

    I used to have a blog, but the novelty wore off fast.

    It takes a lot of work to create, and to keep it updated and interesting.

    Too bad you didn't record that conversation you had with AOL MA 'cause you coulda been on the Today Show! ;-)

    While most people have focused on "John" (who got fired), I gotta believe he was just going by the script that AOL wants 'em to do to "retain" customers ... and your experience echo's that.
