My brain hurts.

    I started getting pop-ups saying that my computer is infected, and offering to sell me software to remove the infected files. I ran Spybot, and it found but could not remove Winhound, and Zlob.Downloader. I did a google on those files, and I was directed here.

    I read and completed steps 1-7 of 'READ & RUN ME FIRST' and am attaching the files requested, but I am clueless and will need some help.

    I also have a new symptom... whenever I go to sites with clips that open in the browswer (killsometime.com, kontraband.com, abum.com), it says I don't have the plugin. It always worked prior to this problem...

    Your logs are clean! Are you having any other malware problems?

    As far as those sites are concerned, you will have to figure out what plugins and for which programs (like Windows Media Player etc) you need and reinstall them. I cannot help you with that.


    If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to go back to step 1 of the READ & RUN ME to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points. Then reboot and enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
