My dad is having neck surgery on Monday

My dad is having neck surgery on Monday. Some of your may have remembered that my dad had back surgery last year. Now is Neck Surgery. I am kind of nervous. Thanks for your support guys.

 

I really hope the operation all goes well and your dad gets well very soon.

I can't blame you for being nervous pclover, imagine what dad's feeling like right about now. I've been through many surgeries(though not on the neck) and I'm sure he'll be fine too! I hope for the best outcome.

 

I've always thought it a worse worrying time for those close to the patient than those in hospital... I'm sure your dad will do well this time round again...so try not to worry too much. Prayers and thoughts directed towards your dad and those attending him:wave

hey PC it's a worrying time for sure but you can take solace from all the positive contributions that the members here have given.

my little bit is that i have had the same surgery only i had my neck done first it is held together with screws, i then had the same thing done to my back and finally i had a new hip implant done, it would be unfair of me to say that it's nothing to worry about but the surgeons today are so highly competent that the risks are very small, i will send all my positive thoughts your way and hope for a successful outcome.

 

You shouldn’t have to worry now a days. There are very skilled surgeons that have done the same surgery over & over. It’s like second nature for them. Hope all goes well.

The surgery was already done in feb He is doing good.
