    Is it just my new computer, or has the My Documents desktop folder I am accostomed to on my old Win 98 computer not typically included in Win XP? I imagine there is a way to create a shortcut for that with Win Explorer, and I will do so. Was just wondering if something is messed up.

    Right click on the desktop and chose Properties. Click on the Desktop Tab and select "Customize Desktop". Under Desktop Icons check the ones you want to appear then click OK and OK again to exit.
