Does anyone know if there is any way to hide My Favorites so other users of my computer can't see them?

I'm not sure if there's a way to 'hide' favorites, but you could copy 'em to a different folder named something that nobody would look at... like name the folder "Barry Manilow's Best". Then delete everything currently in the favorites folder. When you want to add something to favorites, click 'File' then 'Send' and send a shortcut to the desktop. When you're done surfing, move all the links from the desktop to "Barry's" folder.....

Do you have a USB flash drive? If so, you might get the portable version of the Firefox browser. It will install on and run off a flash drive. Your Firefox Bookmarks (same thing as Favorites in Internet Explorer) would be on the flash drive. When disconnect the flash drive, no trace of your Bookmarks is left on the hard drive; they're on the flash drive.

I was thinkin'..... I know that there's programs that will let you password protect ANY folder in Windows. You could use one of these and if someone doesn't know the password, they can't get in to the folder. Just be sure to choose a password that's easy for you to remember, but difficult for anybody else to guess... There's also some Windows 'tweaker' type programs that allow you to hide certain folders; these may or may not be what you need. Look in the Covert Ops section for password programs, and the tweaker type programs are in several different sections: Internet Tools, All In One, and Miscellaneous....

BTW- the portable FireFox idea posted above is an excellent suggestion. Your favorites wouldn't even be on the PC.....

The best way for you to keep your favorites and other files private is to create a separate user log on for other people to use this means your My Documents and its subfolders, Desktop, Start Menu, Cookies and Favorites can not be accessed because these folders are specific to each users profile.
