My FTP server won't let me in!

I decided to use Pure-FTPd on my Ubuntu comp, simply because it has a GUI, so I installed it and I can get it to run, I set up usernames and passwords, and when I try to connect I get this:

I am sure the password is correct, I tries making multiple accounts, and none work. Any ideas?
