My java web start is not opening correctly. Help

Everytime i open java web start, the screen goes black. Then, the window of java web start appears but it stays gray and it doesn't work. When i press control+alt+delete, the program is running. I've tried cleaning up cache from the internet temporary files. I also tried opening the java control panel but the screen goes black again. I even unninstalled java once and reinstalled it but the the screen keeps going black. Also, the screen goes black when i open playonline(final fantasy program for final fantasy 11). I am not sure, but i think what made this problem was wurm online, an mmorpg that runs with java. Can someone help me fix this problem?

To anyone who helps me fix this problem, will be my favorite super heroe!

Hi hidai and welcome to major geeks
The best thing would be to uninstall your java and start again downloading a fresh copy from here. Should this still not work for you then do please post back for further advice

hello, i did what you said but the problem doesnt seem to fix. If there is another way you can help me, i will gladly appreciate your help.

Hi hidai
I presume you are running xp? If so there is no reason as to why your java is not installing correctly. If you have upgraded to xp from say windows 98 there have been some issues in that area. Can you please confirm what operating system you have and could you also make sure you have the latest in video card drivers installed
