My microsoft mouse making me crazy...

i have microsoft mouse, my computer is celeron MB with 1 GB RAM recently a silly problem has started, when i start my PC my mouse doesnt work i have to unpug and plug it again then it works, i thought its the mouse problem, so bought a new one, it too works the same, i have stopped using my PC back USB ports and using an extention cable, coz cant go back and remove and insert it again n again every time the mouse doesnt work, one thing my mouse is USB, Plz anybody help me solving this problem... one thing my mother board is a new one, its intel chipset 845 not the original intel board.

 

I would look into a Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse combo. I have been using them for a while, and while getting them synchronized with the receiver the first time can be a hassle, they tend to work very well afterwards. It is my experience that Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse is no harder to sync than any other brand, and works better afterwards.

Does your motherboad have a PS/2 port for a mouse? If so, that might work better for you than USB. Some mice come with adapters, allowing them to be used on either USB or PS/2.

 

my board has PS2 port, but iam addicted to USB and also it is fast when compared to PS2, and i dont have a PS2 mouse either
