Maybe possible agp card is going on the fritz,
    Is new problem?
What video/graphics drivers are ya running, maybe try different ones.
What your resoultion and refresh rate set to, is within capibilitys of monitor?
Have you tryed going to Control Pannnel /Display properties/settings Troubleshoot?
In advanced section, monitor tab, is box checked that hides modes that monitor cannot display
In device manager is there any flags up or yellow? related to video stuff?
Or at System info/ componets/ click on problem devices is anything displayed?
Probably not monitor but have you tryed on another rig
If you got another video card try it

Not sure if this will help ,but could be worth looking at . Is your hardware acceleration set to full ? to check this right click on your desktop click on properties / settings tab / advanced / troubleshoot

I'm using nvidia's newest driver, and the omega driver doesn't work too well
The resolution is 1152x864 60 refreshrate
I have tried troubleshoot, no solution, my bio is the newest one
I didn't understand that moniter tab quesion
There is nothing flagged in device moniger,
The problem is also present when I switched to my Geforce3 MX

if the problem is present even with a different video card then it's probably the monitor. See if you can test the monitor with a completely different computer, a friends possibly. If the problem follows the monitor then you have your answer.

    Monitor tab question?

In the control pannel click on display
    Then click on settings tab
at the bottom of page or box thats opened click on advanced box then another window opens with several tabs like general, adaptor color managment, monitor, troubleshooting
Click on the tab that says monitor, just below where your present refresh rate is displayed, is a box when checked it hides settings your monitor cant handle and would not allow you to set otherwise.

Agree with Fw190 last post, check monitor an another pc

some monitor have reset button, resets to factory settings,
Flickering is one effect of improper refresh rate
Last thought do ya have owner manual of monitor may be troubleshoot section, or go to manufacture web site maybe some info there
