I just builded a new computer and ill like to know if i did a good choice with this build and if it will be a good computer. I did had in mind to build a gaming pc, but i could have gone the wrong way in some parts, so some inputs and how to make it better. It runs great so far, and i havent benchmark it cuz i dont know any. I heard of 3dbenchmark06, but i download it and it seems not to work correctly.

    My system:

MOBO: EVGA 780i Sli Socket 775
    CPU: Intel C2Quad Q6700 2.66Ghz
Video Card: EVGA Geforce 9600GT 1GB PCIe 2.0
    Memory Ram: OCZ Sli 2048MB PC6400 DDR2 800Mhz
    PSU: Ultra X-Pro 750 Watts 2-80mm Fans
CPU Fan: Thermaltake Golden Orb II cooler Socket 775
    HDD: WD Caviar 500GB SATA 7200RPM, 16MB, SATA 3G
    OS: Windows XP Pro 32bit

Any ideas how to make sure its running its fullness without overclocking it and whats the best program to benchmaker it for free so i can post it here if its good to be post. Thank you in advance.

Looks good to me! If you say it's running great, why the worries? Why are you second guessing it? If everything is running good and fast (and it should be) then stop worrying and just enjoy the PC! I'm assuming you spent a bit of money on it so you did your research and got good parts and you should know more or less how it would perform before you even put it together. Don't fix what isn't broken! The main thing to do at this point, is to make sure that it stays running nice and fast. Use a good antivirus and antispyware, and keep up on PC maintenance. Well is not that im worry or anything. It just that i want it to run great, and yes i did pay some good money but it always beat buyin it build from a Company, atleast i also get to put to it what i want and how i want it. But here are what i think what gets me thinking, for the speed it is and suppose to have it will take me about 1min or 1.5min to completely load when i dont have anythin on startup besides CA Internet Security Plus 2008, then on the very first IE start up, it will take about 20sec, next time i open IE it opens in a flash no problem. Installing programs, to be honest it seems great it goes thru them like nothing, but i still want to make sure that if it could be better i want to make it better and again with no overclocking, i want to see how powerful this system can be, and by the way no Windows Vista, i dont like it.
