My new monitor!

Well sorta- I had this dissasembled for my BFL project- then had to use it for some video editing. I also managed to zap my forehead on the exposed psu while bending over it to turn it on. Ouch!

Sweet! When did Mt Dew start making monitors?:-D

Looks pretty cool, ya going to put it some kind of case or what? I have always wanted to rig up a 19" widescreen into a picture frame. Don't know why, and don't have the tech skills, just sounds cool I guess.

There's not much to an LCD fred- the hardest part would be finding the picture frame. It was just a temporary solution- I had dissasembled it for a project I'm working on (work log at ocf) and I needed it to do some video editing. Its now dissasembled and safely stored on a shelf.

 

Frame would be the easy part, I got access to a frame shop. Used to make frames. :-D

dissasembling the monitor isn't too difficult- jst unplug it first

 

Why?
Just gonna end zapping yourself with the PSU anyway.
