my night at the races

What a fun night first thing we have to do when we got there was pull out the drive shaft and replace the main rear seal on the tranny. boy was that fun. thin while we were doing ths i just happen to get up from under the car and look on the front strate away and see a car light up he had about 30 feet of fire behind him (coming from the engine) he kept going for about half the track. thin a friend of mine her dads car backfire through the Carb and made it catch fire. but hey thats not the best part. a very good friend of ours that helped us all night to put out car back together. Got into alittle wreck. it got pushed off the back strite away and went head on into one of the big powerline poles. it totaled his car he only had it for about a month. he can't use that car nomore it wrecked the frame and all in the front. one good thing tho he may of hit that pole at 100mph+ but he did not get hurt. you would think the ower would of put up some rails to keep this from happening but guess what it has happen before and he dont give a care earilyer this year a car went off turn 1 and went through the air and did not stop untill he hit a pine tree. while in the AIR... he turned out to be ok. i will post pics as soon as i can get some.

 

Racing can be fun. Can be expensive and a lot of work, but a lot of fun.

 

it is alot of fun we all think Donny (the guy that hit the "High Tension power line pole") has a lot of money if he comes back next week with a new car we will know for sure lol

 

We took the boys to the races last night too...the local speedway...was awesome fun. My face was so black when we got home hehe.

 

haha all we run at our track is Mini Pure stock, Pure Stock, Cadet, Road Warriors, Sportsman and Late Model. i wish we would get some sprint cars there them things are fun to watch lol.

 

I think the sprint was my favorite, though the 360 was pretty cool until everyone starting getting flats.
