I am a fan club member, bought platinum tickets that include a meet and greet, backstage tour, etc. It was quick, but cool. You could talk to them for a minute type of thing. They were all very nice. Nikki and Tommy were just the coolest, Mick is hard to read obviously and Vince seemed bored and uninterested which I had heard and that was the most disappointing as I am a big fan of Vince from way back, seen him a few times solo over the past 5 years.

Mick has had a degenerative bone disease for as long as I recall... gotta give him credit for getting a hip replacement and doing the tour, hes much older then the rest, but he does look like the walking dead, hes literally gray. He moves around on stage pretty well since he never really moved much at all to begin with

I have learned that these guys (stars) are monkeys and get paid to dance for us so I dont take it too seriously anymore as far as being star struck, wasnt even all that excited. I find sometimes meeting stars only makes them less interesting then their personalities that they display, so meet and greet stuff is the only way to go

 

Heres a couple more, Nikki Sixx is actually posing for me, with a mouthful of water.... Yes, as soon as it snapped he spit, it was hilarious. My wife got it worst I was front row center.

Canon PowerShot SD500, compact, 7 megs. Jim just taught me scene mode or the pics would be better, those are all auto shot.

 

Normal: the guy whos hair is flat because it was raining out and he didnt have a stylist following him around

 

Yup, ill post some pictures later from my Vegas trip to show you the difference once I understood to shoot with scene mode. Early pictures are dark and blurry, then later, perfect.

 

Heres a 3 meg photo chopped to 640X480 and quality reduced by 15% to show you how nice the pictures come out from this camera.

For a compact, its incredible, I would have a hard time buying anything but Cannon after owning this camera.

 

I assume it could be be better but i use "kids and pets" setting to avoid blurred shots from moving. If I had a steady hand, the outdoor setting might have improved the shot.

 

I got some other pics, just been busy. Cameras were allowed, though as always, one jackass thought they were not, SO, my stepson met me by the chain link fence and passed it through.
