My Pictures File

The photos stored there used to show thumbnail versions,now there is only a
square with the Quicktime Icon in the middle of it. Is there a way to get the
pictures to show again? I have Windows ME. Seems to have started after I
installed Realplayer 10.5. I use Realplayer to view NASA TV.

 

quicktime changed your file associations.
you need to reset them to whatever you opened them with before.
to do so.right click and see if you have an open with.....on your options if not, then click properties and you should see a box that says type of file...and underneath
opens with.
click the change button and choose your program from there. whatever it was you used before installing quicktime.

 

Quicktime Picture Viewer has always been used to view pictures and there was always the little thumbnail pictures to click on to get the full size photo.
No changes have been made that would have changed things.
