My Text Looks... Russian?

All text relating to the Spore game looks like gibberish - almost like Russian characters, but I definitely selected English as my language. Everything from the installation screens to the game itself, none of the text is showing up as English. This is only happening with the Spore game, and nothing else on my system.
If a screenshot is necessary, let me know. Please help!


Now, I realize this may be a Spore software error, but I get the feeling it's something with my computer, since no one else I know has this problem. =/

 

Try an uninstall/reinstall of Spore. Since its the only program that you are having the problem with. You might have got a corrupted download or install.

 

I've already tried reinstalling the game, but it doesn't work. The installer itself is in Russian-like text. When I downloaded the preview to the game some months ago, I had this issue as well. I don't believe it's an issue of the game having a corrupted file. I'm more worried about a corrupted file within my computer system instead.
