Mybook replacement enclosure 1.5TB

I took out the hard drive trying to repair it (the solder broke to the usb part) and failed. I was wondering if a new external enclosure would solve that problem and if you could point me to one that's cheap? Thank you.

SATA or IDE?

There are cheaper models but I also looked to see how many reviews the toaster and enclosure had and the higher, both in amount of reviews and stars given, made me post those two.

If using the drive for TV or movie recording/playback, I suggest an air cooled drive enclosure. Since a video drive may spin for hours at a time, it will reduce heat buildup and likely prolong the life of the HDD.

Since I suspect the WD drive is SATA, this is my pick. In addition to USB, it includes an eSATA cable and backplane that greatly increases transfer speeds.
