I have never visited a message board before and will probably never do so again. I am here because there are certain members of the computer comunity I wish to speak to.

I am a 52 year old woman. I go to work, come home and don't get too involved with the rest of the world. My friends are my friends and I try to do right by them. I have very little family but what I have I charish. I am not particularly computer literate but I have one and use it for all my personal files. I should say I used to use it for my personal files. I don't have any anymore. All my letters are gone. All my Excel files are gone too. I opened an e-mail I thought was from Careerbuilders about a job I had submitted my resume (that's gone too now) for and all it was was a vechicle for W32.Mydoom.F@mm.

I can not imagine the kind of sick twisted mind it takes to willfully distroy the private files of hundreds of thousands of people who you have neither met of have done you any harm. You are not an animal. To call you an animal is to disgrace all animals. You are a sub-species all your own. I am greatful I do not know you since you are obviously cruel, vial, despicable and beneath contempt.

That is a cruel thing for me to say and I admit it. But it is true. They used to say you got what you gave to this world.

I apologize to all of you who exercise your craft for the greater good who may be offended by my remarks. But I can not help how I feel. And every word is precisely how I feel ...every single word.

and i think thats a bit over the top and id like to know why you have brought this here you go to all the trouble to join this forum almost as if you are insinuating the members here are somehow involved

ill give you the good grace to hold my tongue as your a lady and i was taught to respect people and feel sorry for others who cant do the same

With that said, none of us here infected you and personally in the way this hate thread was posted towards us, I think you owe us an apology.

Nobody here infected you, and nobody held a gun to your head as you opened an unknown attachment as well.

 

The people who do these kinds of things are sick, twisted mofos, IMO. Of the millions of people that use computers, there are bound to be a small minority of malicious a$$holes.

But the people here on this board are not that kind of people. Those who are intent on harm do not hang out in support forums trying to help others. Do not make the mistake of assuming that all serious computer users are to blame for destructive viruses. After all, you're a user yourself or you wouldn't be here!

Using a PC and the internet, like anything else in life, involves risk, and requires a certain level of responsibility for your own safety. Knowledge is power, and pursuit of that knowledge is why I am a member of this board. Educating yourself about basic computer safety is the answer to your problem. Rant all you want, but take responsibility for your own actions...

This thread is going no were. it started off as stupid spam by someone who got hit. This is a help forum, not a "I opened an email and got nailed by a virus so i am going to insult random tech people in forums were people help clean off these bugs" forum.
