MySearch Now...

Hi guys i was just wondering if you could help me...

i downloaded something the other day and its dumped loadsa stuff on my computer. Now i have a mysearch now blue bar at the bottom of my screen when i open internet explorer, and a toolbar at the top when i open then internet explorer. I know its from mysearch now cos when i go to the home page on it it takes me there.

The toolbar at teh top says if you go into add/remove programs it would be there to delete, however its not there.

So i have run spybot s&d, microsoft antispyware (beta1), antivirus, and ad-aware, this still hasn't worked... if i put my log you think you could have a look?

First, please follow ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ ME FIRST BEFORE ASKING FOR SUPPORT: Basic Spyware, Trojan And Virus Removal

After doing ALL of the above if you still have a problem:

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gif Unzip the hijackthis.exe file to a folder you create named C:\Program Files\HJT

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gif Do NOT run Hijack This from the Desktop, a temp folder, or a sub-folder of C:\Documents and Settings, or choose to run it directly from the ZIP file as your backups will not be safely stored.

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gifBefore running HijackThis: You must close each of the following:your web browser, e-mail client, instant messenger, and programs like notepad, wordpad, MS Word etc. And any other unnecessary running programs.

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gif Post your log as an ATTACHMENT to your next post. (Do NOT copy/paste the log into your post as it will be removed).

You still have not ran the online scans listed in the READ ME. These steps are not optional, they are required! The more thats skipped the more thats left infected. The READ ME's are here for you benefit!

Please run these online scans:

TrendMicro Online Scan
Bitdefender online scan
RavAntivirus online scan <-- select Auto Clean then click Scan My PC
TrojanScan online scan

After you have completed the above scans, reboot and post a fresh HJT log.
