I think this the page you looking for http://websecuritykeeper.com/ It's for firefox and google chrome but not sure what it does as I never used it.

It's not on the list of 135 Firefox endorsed add-ons. In Firefox go to tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions (or Plug-ins) select it and click disable then remove (if this choice is available).

I also read the terms of use at the site and you'd get third party software installed and web pages would open because of this add-on.

yes. It is websecurity keeper.com , Still have not figured out how and/or why it is there. Recently , Mediacom installer guy was here to set up internet. Like you, I dont know what it does. Website does not have info. Like I said, all I see is download page.(no info). Would this be one of those third party things ???

Any add-on to Firefox is "third party". But, I didn't see websecurity keeper in the list I pulled up for Firefox endorsed add-ons. And, like I said in my first reply, when I read the Terms of Use for websecurity keeper, it said websites would open whether you want them to or not and it said third party add-ons might be installed whether you want them to be or not.

So, IMHO, this is like a trojan and I certainly wouldn't want it on my computer. Follow the instructions in my first reply to get rid of it.

Hey mdonah, I fully agree with you. What you said is basically what number 6 of the Terms of Use says. This company is actually calling their add-on a Trojan.
