Well, I had just logged off of MG and my girlfriend asked me to post this and I got to thinking, we have alot of creative individuals here that might be interested or have some good ideas.

She works in "Advertising" and needs a good name and suggestions for a new kind of hamburger that can be prepared in a fast-food restaurant or setting.

So, any ideas or suggesstions of things you like, dislike, or prefer on a burger will be greatly appreciated and might help her.

My answer was, "it's a hamburger, what else can you do"?

    Thank you.

    zippy burger

Dont generally eat in fast food places, but one thing that would get me to eat them more would be a home cooked style of burger, you know the type thats thick and juicy with fresh toppings of fried onion tomato, lettuce etc and NOT that limp ass effort we tend to see in fast food joints these days!

What's the name and theme (if any) of the company? Many burger names key in on those.

I do have a little background. It's a new place that is opening on campus (UT) and wants to have a large take-out menu, they have a great location right on the strip and a large area out front with tables.

Kimmy did tell me that right now they are planning on using those plastic basket type things for burgers and fries if you eat outside, I kind of like that.

So, it is a college campus theme but alot of places around there have Vol Burgers, Smokey Burgers, Big Orange Burgers, etc.

The burgers are / will be grilled and you can order them any way you prefer, but they want like a main trademark burger.

    Just call it "The Cow".

Slogan: Most cows would DIE just to get between our buns.

BURGLA'S you could have a guy in a black and white burglar uniform with some loot on his back peeping around from the back of the sign,so you would have to slope it at 45 degrees from the B upwards.:)

"They originated in Hamburg, Germany. Frankfurters also share a German origin, as Frankfurt, Germany is widely credited as being the locale of their creation. Wonder why they gave up before "German Fries" were invented "

we did make/invent the "german" fries, but the french just stole it, like everything else ;)

@ Halo, what about "The Big Un"? :D

@ Star, going to try those Bubba Burgers sometime. I see alot of people buying them.

@ G.T., I think it should be different also.

My idea when we first began talking about it was forget the burger thing, offer a couple of good burger combo's like everyone else. I would make my speciality bologna sandwiches, serve them in the wax type baggies for take out. You can get burgers over there all day long, good and bad, but try to find somewhere that makes bologna sandwiches. Get about six of them to take to the games or back to the dorm.

I wonder how long I would last in the restaurant or the advertising business?
