Nasty problem help :S

    Yesterday i got infected with "ms anti.sypyware 2009" or something like that, but i removed it without any problems.

    But today when i started the pc the windows GUI didnt load, so i tried safe mode, but that didnt help neither. I also tried using spybot, hijackthis, and a few more programs to see what the hell was going on but i couldnt get them to run :(. I downloaded them again and finally i could make avg to run an scan, it found a few trojans and erased them. I also tried to follow the steps of "READ & RUN ME FIRST" but i couldnt do much beacuse whenever i try to run something nothing happens, the new task appears in the "task manager" but dissapears seconds later. After that i tried reinstalling windows, but my cd drive doesnt read it.

    So far i can open mozilla, avg and CCcleaner.

    OS: Windows XP Pro SP2

    Any help would be aprreciated :)

    Did you try renaming the scan tools? Did you try running them in safe mode? What happened when you ran MGTools.exe ( you can change it to MGTools.com and see if it will run then)?
