nasty spyware won't go away

Good Morning all....

I have followed all steps in the basic spyware removal thread. Removed viruses and lots of adware/spyware. The machine is running Windows XP Home. Even with all this stuff removed I still get popups constantly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have run through all the steps in the tutorial, the next step is to post a HijackThis log.

Before posting the log, read through the following thread:

NO HIJACK THIS LOG FILES BEFORE READING THIS: HJT Tutorial & LOG File Posting

When submitting a log please be sure to attach it as an attachment, not an inline paste. To do this save the log file and click on manage attachments and attach the saved file. It is very important that you close all running programs including your web browser (this includes Internet Explorer), email, items in the tray before running Hijack This!

Do NOT install Hijack This to the Desktop, any folder under Documents and Settings (Win2k, WinXP), a temp folder or choose to run it directly from the downloaded ZIP file.
