Do you want to know how bad it is? I'm in safe mode right now. I would have reformatted my hard drive already, but I don't have a Windows CD. The battle with this thing began last month, and I removed viruses multiple times with Malwarebytes. It came back from the dead every time, and then I downloaded SUPERanti-spyware along with ComboFix. SUPERanti removed viruses like Malwarebytes, but they still kept coming back. ComboFix would not run at all. A window pops up every time saying it was compromised.

I continued using the computer with minor problems. One day, it crash dumped me to a blue screen, and after I rebooted it wouldn't let me log into Windows Vista saying my copy wasn't genuine. I ran a Malwarebytes scan in Safe Mode. It found 105 infections. When I tried to remove them, the computer crashed to the blue screen of death.

I rebooted into safe mode again, and Windows isn't even showing up. Instead, I got a popup warning me that I'm infected and I should install antivirus software immediately. The other thing that opened was the saved logs from the Malwarebytes scan. I right-clicked it to open with Internet Explorer, and now I'm here posting the logfile. Is there anything I can do???

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Normally when ComboFix states this it also mentions having a Virut infection. And the fact that you say your problems keep coming back also is indicative of a Virut infection. If you have a Virut infection, your only option is a total clean reinstall. So before I waste too much additional time with other scanners, just run the below procedure and attach the requested log. This will help us decide whether you have a Virut infection or something else.

Run this: Using MGtools and attach the requested MGlogs.zip file.
