NAV 2006 won't load

I took all my programs except XP off my computer because I was going to sell it. Now I'm keeping it. I'm trying to put Norton Anti-Virus 2006 on it, but when I put in the CD, press Install, and go to the License screen, I click "I accept" and then I plug in the key code from the box but the NEXT button won't light up and when I click it nothing happens. CANCEL works, but BACK won't work either. When I hit "enter" after the last of the code I get a message asking if I want to exit set up.

NAV has terrible support. Can anyone offer suggestions? Thanks!

 

Generally the next button won't light up if you are a character/s short.

Silly question, but I have to ask, are you sure you are entering in the correct amount?

What happens if you add a character or two at the end, does the next button then become active?

 

Thanks Insomniac! When I looked in bright light really really close I saw the first group of letters was VV which looked exactly like a W. I typed in VV and it worked!!!
