Neat Desktop Scanner Driver V5.6

Hello,

A few weeks ago I had to do a clean reinstall of Windows 7 Profession due to some corrupted system files. The reinstall went perfectly and I have add new drivers for my devices without incident, except for my Neat Desktop Scanner.

I have downloaded the Neat driver V5.6 and uninstalled it and reinstalled it and I still am having the same problems. After I open neat and try to scan a document I keep getting the message the says, "Neat has stopped working and shuts down. I have tried following on line recommendations on Neat's website bay noting works, I am hoping that someone has had this problem and has implemented a solution that fixes Neat so it works.

I have a Dell computer with a AMD Phenom 9650 Quad-Core Processor 2.30 GHz, Installed Memory 4.00 GB, and a 64-bit operating system.
Do you have any ideas that I can try.

Thanks for your help. I have followed every step that was provided by the Neat links that you provided and nothing has worked. Neat still won't operate and it applications continues to shut down. Do you have any other suggestions?
