Need a free recorder

I am looking for a recorder to record, my music from my multitrack recorder ( cassette, to computer using the line in.

I downloaded a couple only to have the recording stop after 40 secs. Is there a free recorder out there with limits, that i could use for awhile.. need to buy a digital multi-track recorder.. this is frustrating.

Here's two good free audio editors that will record (and do TONS of other things)
Audacity and Wavosaur.
