need a lil help hooking my graphics card to my tv

    ok heres the skinny i have a geforce fx 5500 256mb the card is blue. and i have allreddy hooked it up to my tv and checked it out but the problem is..my screen resolution is set at 1280x1204 color quality is...(highest 32bit) now on the tv that looks good untill u try to read something......when u try to change the resolution it just makes it too big for the screen got any ideas? the tv is a normal 32 inch sanyo tv. and just so u know.. the card never came with a book and nvidia thats a hole other story they keep saying the same thing like u need to contact your retailer for details...and all i want to know is if i need a special software or something like that?????? thanks for ur time guys

    Old TV's cant handle your PC's resolution, you'll never be able to read text very well on it.
    You'll need a PC Monitor or new LCD TV
