    Extruded Forms
    and
Surfaces Modeling (I'm assuming it's the modeling of surfaces but I am not confident)

    Any takers?

Are you talking Maya? Surface modeling is the sculpt surfaces tool and , well what is it that you are doing?

Extruded forms can be creating shapes out of curves or by extruding faces from the object to create new ones. Surface modeling is releated to patch modeling also. I can be more specific if you give more detail. :)

Only time I came into cantact with extruded forms was while working as a QC in a tincan manufacturers, where they used small aluminum pellets, which under pressure where drawn out into seamless bodys for 2 peice cans you see today in soft drinks cans etc.
