need a little help on

i'm on this other forum right and i have two accounts
i want to know can they tell that i have 2 accounts
or how can i find out if other members have multiple accounts

depending on the forum software, they can probably tell if you have multiple accounts. It's difficult for members to locate multiple accounts. Admins can do this easily though.

 

I guess it depends too on how many PCs you have at your disposal

If the forum you're on is the one I moderate, it's only a matter of time before we delete one of your accounts, and you'll be lucky to keep the original one. We don't allow multiple accounts per user, nor do we allow people to misrepresent themselves by using different names.

We can tell because we can see your email address and IP address. Also, most people with multiple accounts give themselves away because they can't help talking like themselves, or because they forget which account they're posting under when they say certain things, or because they put things in their profile that are identical to one of their other accounts.

i have this account for a while but never get a chance to post anything i've been busy

in some cases you are logged in somewhere else
and need access to the site
so you create another account

alot of people here ( I happen to believe)
create an account get the help they need and when they get help again, they forgot who they where and have to create another account

or one just likes their "alter ego" better than their "own"
