need addy......

Is there a site that will give me a list of all the things in windows xp that i can turn off and/or delete w/o causing serious bodely harm to my PC ? Im trying to set a comp up mainly for gaming, so i want optimal performance.

Make sure you have a backup and have created a Restore point before you start fiddling. A backup of the Registry is essential also, IMO.

Don't try all the recommended suggestions in one go. Make a couple of changes, write down what you have done, reboot and see if they work. Then proceed to the new suggestions, a couple at a time, etc.
