Need advice on a new monitor Before labor day ends

Need advice asap. Please help me choose a monitor:cry
I am running nvidia Geforce 9800 GT and I want to take advantage on the labor day sales from newegg. I am looking for 22" or 23" widescreen Monitor with 5ms or less response time. I need some opinions. I want to keep it under $200. Any help before the sale end would be great

 

I'm partial to Viewsonic monitors. Samsung has very good monitors as well, some with TV tuners. Get 1 with 5ms response time or less. LED monitors will be brighter than CFL monitors, but stay away from edge-lit LED monitors.

 

I like 24" LG's or BenQ, I have the latter and love it! Here's a decent one too.

 

Ok, Now here come the nob question AS with an HD tv, when you put digi signal in an HD TV its a bit washed out) Will I have any problems, since ity seems all the best reviews are for the HD monitors?? I am runnin a Geforce 9800GT. I know its a stupid question , but please humor me.
Is HD the way to go? Also how are the ASUS and Hanns-G monitors?
