Need advice

    Logged on to desktop computer tonight and I have a new screen that says virsues detected. Also a full red screen with a bio-hazard type logo that says your computer is infected. Tryed to log on to the internet to solve problem, but computer is running on empty. Not to sure where I should go from here. Any ideas>?

    programs I was able to try to remove from system included:
    Hotfix
    Malware2008
    Winaspi- micro staff

    Recv'ing responses such as your privacy is in danger
    antivirus xp08 has started
    can not access the control panel or accessories from the main users page.
