Need Anti Spyware

    Hey guys i need some help with getting an good free anti-spyware for my laptop. i am running on Vista. i had dl spybot S&D buy it seen to be having some problems i keep get the "not responding"message so i uninstall it. i dont rember what version it was. Any suggestion on what and where i should get one from? thanks for the help.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

    There are not a lot of choices when it comes to FREE tools for Vista yet.

    You do need to consider that Vista includes Windows Defender as a built in free product. It is much better than the previous version of Windows Defender that was used in Win XP and 2K.

    You could also try: Spyware Terminator (Without Web Security Guard)

    But whatever you use, do not use more than one realtime blocking tool. Example, if you have Windows Defender enabled, do not use Spyware Terminator.

    is windows defender going to take care of everything when it comes to spyware and anti-viruses, or should i get something like avg?
