Need Antivirus Live/Laptop-Antivirus Removal Help

First off I did search prior to making this post, but couldn't find anything.

My PC is completely hijacked by this program, I've seen it called Antivirus Live and Laptop-Antivirus among other things. Everything I've tried to remove it has been blocked. It blocks Windows Defender, Ad-Aware, Spyware Doctor, task manager, system restore, regedit, everything I've tried.

When I go to a website with instructions on how to remove it I can't get any of the methods to work. This site for example - http://www.wikihow.com/Manually-Remove-Antivirus-Live-Malware it blocks that process monitoring application as soon as I run it, and the other instructions which I've seen on other sites containing the path to the files just don't apply to me. I'm using Vista so the path would be different, but I've searched everything under users/*/appdata and can't find the file which is the source of the problem anywhere. I fully searched my entire hard drive for sysguard.exe and found nothinng.

I'm completely out of ideas at this point as nothing I've tried has worked, the only option I have left right now is backing up all my data and re-formatting my drive which I really do not want to. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

 

Ok it looks like it wasn't preventing me from booting in safe mode, so I managed to do that and run superanti-spyware and malwarebytes which seems to have gotten rid of it
