My computer keeps freezing up, from it has boiled down to, heat, I think. I can run a floor fan blowing into the case and the computer does fine. I've also got four fans in the case but they alone don't seem to be doing it. I changed to a 64 meg video card out of another machine and it did the same thing. The cpu idle is running at 129 F, when I play games it really jumps up there. So where do I buy a cpu cooler or is that really what I need?

    3200 AMD
    K7N2 delta MB
    1 gig 3200 memory
    FX5200 nvidia video card
    Running XP home

Thanks for the links, I learned some stuff, unfortunetly none of it was about heat sinks and now I'm more confused then ever

I looked at no less then forty heat sinks, every one of them claims to be the greatest thing since sliced bread. Plus all the reveiws were giving temps for 1400 through 2000 chips, I've got a 3200.
Does anybody have a link that points to the heat sinks for the 3200? Which would just be a good heat sink, I don't know one from another. I will gladly take somebodys word over my guessing.
Thanks for your patience, understanding and time.

    you are understanding aren't you?
