Need dbx file viewer \ extractor program

I'm looking for a simple, easy to use dbx extractor/ reader program for one of my clients to use!

I just set her up with a new machine (going from Win 98 --> Win XP) and I copied all the files that she needed - docs, pics, etc., and her saved email files from MSN, which I found in the dbx format.

I think, no problem, Outlook Express can import those type of files ... but no, once I did all the updates for the computer OE had be "upgraded" to Windows 'Live' email!

Which I now find, does NOT like dbx files! Can someone at MS make up their freaking minds!!

Anyway, I did do a search both on here and online for the program I'm looking for - just so my client can get to read archived emails when needed. (she works with an animal rescue group and keeps them for reference)

Open source code program would work the best, as long as it's easy for a semi computer literate person to understand!
