Need .dotx converter

    I need a way to convert a document from .dotx format to .doc. Any suggestions?

    You can try to change the extension to .docx and then open it up in Open Office. If that does not work, use the online converter

    .dotx is a Word Template file.

    Hi Ron

    Do you have Office installed if so open up the Doc and then use Save As to change the format, if the Docx will not open in your version of Office then install the Compatability Pack HERE

    Changing the extention to .doc from .docx should work but it may loose any formatting that Office 2007/10 has that your version doesnt.

    You don't say whether you have MS Office installed. If so, just open the file and use Save As. If you don't have office installed, just manually change the extension to .docx, and open it in the latest version of OpenOffice.
