Need Driver For Andget External Usb Dvd Rom - Win8.1

Hello,

The driver shows up on device manager as TEAC DW-224E-A driver assigned by windows, but it has an exclamation point. Whenever I try to upgrade the driver, Windows tells me that I have the best driver already installed.

This drive works on Win10. Does anyone know the best way to search for the driver for this device? My searches so far have yielded nothing but driver software program installs that I'm skeptical of.

I'm running Win8.1 on an Acer Aspire E15 laptop. I've tried different usb ports and they all behave the same. I've tried removing the driver and having windows install the driver again, but nothing changes.
