Need driver help

I had to re-install Windows XP Home after the motherboard and CPU died. I have to build a Frankenstein computer from parts from a couple others. Now I cannot get all of my drivers to load. I know I am missing the sound and something else. When I go to Control Panel --> Printers and Other Hardware --> Add New Hardware, I see that I need SM Bus Controller and Multimedia Audio Controller. When I search for those it says that it cannot install the hardware because it cannot find the necessary software. I have attached the Everest report below.

Hi

The Motherboard is a Compaq SR1710NX version of PC, so drivers or most of them apart from any addon cards you have added will be HERE

Install the Chipset first HERE, this is crucial and reboot, as the Chipset allows other hardware drivers to install correctly.

Install the Video in which you have an add-on Nvidia 8800GTS and driver for XP is HERE

Then install the Audio HERE and then the LAN (network) HERE then in the same area of drivers under Original Drivers (6) are ones for Modem etc

But check your Device Manager for any yellow ! marks and mention what they are.

Thank you, once I get back home this evening I will check these out and see if they work.

I am sorry that I did not post what I found in the Device Manager. It was essentially the same as when I went to Add New Hardware, i.e., SM Bus Controller and Multimedia Audio Controller.
