Need for Speed Carbon crash

Hello,

I borrowed the game from a friend and it installed just fine and it works brilliant overall. However, the problem is that it crashes during certain races with the following error message:

Note that I don't actually have Windows Vista - it's XP with the windows vista customizations.
I really have no idea what's going on. I've re-installed the game and the same thing happens.

 

Disbable Norton and anything else running in the back Round

Norton Is a pain with some games

if that don't work try upgraded the video Drivers

btw some detailed info about your system please Cpu ram Video card ect ect
