need for speed underground demo problem

when i run nfs underground demo it just run very very slowly and some times freeze up, and the same with total immersion racing, i saw some patches for both, but i can't pacht because they are only demos, but both patches does not fix that problem, but other 3D games like nfs hot pursuit 2 or dirt track racing 2 runs perfectly and my pc has all the system requerimients to run that, does anyone know what can be the problem?

 

What are your specs?

 

256 mb ram
intel chipset, i865GL w/ onboard video/audio (ac97)
intel celeron 1.7, oced to 1.8 w/ no volt mods

pd. if i understanded bad what specs. means or wrote something bad, is because i does not speak english, alguien k hable español?
