hrlow is correct, My Computer Online Scan is definitely bad news. Anytime you get a pop up claiming you have oodles of virii, click here to scan! or something that redirects your browser needs to be taken care of.

As for scanning your computer all the time, different products pick up different things, that's why the malware guys here use many different programs. You could be using a good product but it's not picking it up because it wasn't created to detect such things. I do have a question, did you get that pop up all the time or just from a certain site?

2 of the highest recommended programs, if you don't already know, is SuperAntiSpyware and MalwareBytes.
They are used by the Mal fighters and do pretty good work.
Go onto ALL machines I service.
Try to run your scans in Safe Mode.

i get this at random times normaly from sites found through google

and ill run my scan in safe mode when i do it tonight.

one thing though i have a second hard drive with a windows 7 trial on it so half my files on it wont allow themselves to be scanned by my main anti virus could that be part of it?

    Hi

You can also get these types of popups (ad pages) from surfing hookey websites for software, music, films or porn etc so be careful of what websites you are looking at and never click anything on the page if one loads up or you will be infected as you'll have granted it access.

If you have a multi-boot PC with two OSes then you just need to boot to the other OS and run the scans on that OS, although time to get rid of or get the full version of Windows 7 as the trial is only 90 days or RC version will run out on June 1st.

May need to run the full Malware Guide from the Malware forum to be sure you have nothing, especially if SAS and MBAM find anything.

Your screen shot looks very familiar.
I had this 'intrusion' about a year ago.
It turned out to be a kind of known scam that tries to scare you
into buying some bogus security software.

You are probably not infected in the way this thing describes.
The only possible infection is from this spoof itself.
Of course now, this is just my opinion, but like I said, I went through
    this once myself.

Check your browser History and see if you can find the address that produced this.
Then google that address or just the domain and see what you get.
The one that I got was from av1-best-click.

My advise is to not let this thing do anything: no scan - nothing.
Just close the window, but don't close by clicking the x
in the upper right corner as that might also be a trigger.
I think it is safe to use Ctrl + W or close the window from the
    browser's File or Window menu.
When it happened to me, I immediately closed the browser with Alt + F4.

You may want to look at what I posted about this:
    Help - Trojan / Virus ? infection: av1-best-click.info

    Just curious:
What did you use to get the screen shot?

    Good luck!

    Redundant post from my end.
    Ditto to all respondents.
Next time you hit a site warning of any kind of scan etc, pull the pug on the net, and kill the browser.

    Cheers..
