Need help in installing windows ME..while Windows 98 on C.

I had a friend partition my computer into three drives 10GB,10GB and 20GB. I have windows 98se on drive C: and I would like to install windows ME on drive D:. How do I go about doing this, the software is on my hard-drive and as soon as I execute the Windows ME..it tests my system and looks for space and then says I already have a system(on C) and that I need windows ME upgrade instead of the full version. But, want to put the full version on drive D;. Any help would really be appreciated, AL.

actually from what I have been just reading..I want to create a dual boot with windows98se on C and windows ME on D drive. I just need to know how to go about doing that...

You need to get hold of a boot manager, and I recommend you to install Win98 and WinMe on the same HDD but on different primary partitions. (The boot manager will then handle the hidding of the other OS partition and activating the wanted OS-partition for booting)
