Need help removing Norton

i am new. and lost. i have symantic and norton stuff all over. from 2001. the live update etc. cc cleaner doesnt get rid of it. i clicked on the link in the other post for a removal tool but dont see a link to the down load. i found symantic removal tool on komando .com but it only goes to 2003. i am afraid to use it. any help to find a removal tool that works as great as the mcafee one?thank you
