need help removing pctotaldefender

when i log on internet explorer, i get error messages and cant link to any other pages. went into tools tab in ie and reset web settings and found this pctotaldefender under my manage addons tab. i disabled it but i cant find it in add/remove programs. i need a tool to safely remove this junk but i dont know which will be safe. any recommendations welcome
