need help urgently! losing control of my PC!

MY comp is really acting up. The task bar keeps disappearing, when i'm in IRC, it just said that I slapped someone with a fish (didn't type that) and then started looking up user data on some random person. what is going on?

also, I can't get to ANY antivirus sites to download an antivirus program, and the ones I find an off sight mirror for won't install.

What do i do now?

sorry if this is in the wrong forum, I'm new here, and I'm running Windows XP, no service pack (because I also can't access microsoft.com), and i have about 1/2 gig of ram.

it sounds as if you've been infected with malware.

 

you need to get a malware remover, like SuperAntiSpyware remover, that will launch from a flashdrive. boot into safe mode and launch the remover.
