The multiple Dc names is from me trying to remove/delete them. It just renamed it. I have run ccleaner and hijackthis but they are still there. I Googled the file names but couldnt find a removal tool for them. Am I going to have to remoce them manually??? Any help would be appreciated. Thanx

A HijackThis log by itself (especially when not installed properly) is of no use to us in determining if your PC is clean.

If your goal is to determine if you system is clean, please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions. Since you are running Windows 2003, you may not be able to run ComboFix so you will have to skip that step if it gives you a message about it being incompatible.

    • If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.
    Notes:

    1. If you run into problems trying to run theREAD & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can running steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools on another PC and burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.

Ok I downloaded and ran all but 2. I cannot run MGtools because I am running a 64bit system. as for combofix I do not feel comfortable enough to install and run the program as instructed as I dont feel good about using recovery console. But here are the logs from the scans I was able to run.

If not running the other 2 programs will keep me from fixing the issue then im stuck. I cant run MGTools due to my operating system. But if it is REALLY necassary to run Combofix then I will have a friend come over and help me walk through the installation. Thanx again.

Please remember that we requested that you attach logs not post them inline like you did.

It will run anyway. It just will not be able to give us all of the info in each log but it still could be useful. So run it anyway.

ComboFix will not work on a 64bit system so it is of no use to us.

What problems are you still having after running the other scans?

None at the moment other than my windows security keeps telling me I dont have anti virus protection but I am running Macafee Corporate Edition. I cant remember if I disabled that part of my windows antivirus so it wouldnt prompt me. its been a while and I havent had any issues at all since putting this machine together almost a year ago. I have been lucky I guess. Macafee has stopped and deleted 3 problems for me. kinda weird how this one got through. With what I have posted so far is there anything I should get rid of that I havent already?? Thanx for all the help.

You may need to uninstall, reboot, and reinstall.
