herein attached is the everest report with my computer, there's no sound even though there's no missing drivers in the device manager.

Have you checked your settings under Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Devices? Make sure nothing is muted, and make sure your Sound Playback Device (under Audio) is the right one.
You could also try uninstalling and reinstalling your drivers.

    Hi

As well as the above on checking the settings in control panel for Audio, also check that in Services that you do not have the Windows Audio service Stopped and not running, make sure its Started and its startup type is Automatic (will find Services in Control Panel > Administrative Tools)

Could you tell us the timescale from when this started?
Are your speakers functioning ok? check the connections.

Also have you had malware reciently that you have removed?

Have you updated drivers of late, did you use a driver scanner app?

Why have you not installed the latest Windows Service Pack as the report shows you are still on the original RTM version?
