Ok, here's the scenario. I was organizing files, moving them around and stuff. A certain folder I moved had an error when it was moving. For some reason, it moved, but then said it couldn't be moved? I tried again and it asked do you want to replace the existing file? I clicked yes  ... and ... well, it did. rolleyes I don't know what I was thinking! Only thing was, it did move it the first time with all the files in it and the one that was left behind was an empty folder. It bypassed the recycle bin so it's not in there. The files where being moved from one drive to a different drive with several partitions on the same machine. If I ran system restore, would it bring those files back? Or ... What should I use to recover the lost data? Some files are over 50k which I noticed a lot of the trial downloads are limited to the size of the files they will recover. Does that mean the full versions won't either? PLEASE HELP! thank you! :confused

Try Recuva to recover deleted files, it is free.
