MSI has a "Live Update Online" service. Have you tried that?
    http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=html&name=liveupdate_step

Searching the site does not come up with the exact model # you supplied, although there is this one:
    RX2600PRO-T2D256Z/D2

What does your Device Manager say about the driver? Are you getting any error messages? Are you sure it is the card crashing your system? Look in the Event Viewer. What does that have to say about the crashes?

Have you updated your motherboard and video drivers?

I would uninstall the driver completely, before attempting a reinstall.

Also, you can try this to see if there is a conflict:
Remove all the unnecessary devices and try to find the source of the problem.
Disable all on-board device like audio, RAID or others that apply and see if it is due to resource conflict.
Move the PCI card to different PCI slots.

Welcome to Major Geeks. On several occasions, I have had problems with the drivers that come bundled in the box with new video cards. In these situations, I have had to visit the GPU maker's web site, and use their driver. This works most of the time. If it doesn't it could be due to a conflict with an older driver, or if you have an SiS motherboard chipset, you would need to install an updated AGP driver first, then install the video card driver. SiS has a separate driver for the AGP slot and most AGP video cards won't run properly on SiS chipsets unless this driver is correctly installed and current.
Link to ATI drivers for the 2600 for WinXP http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catalyst.aspx?p=xp/radeonx-xp
    ATI 2600 driver for Vista (32bit) http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catalyst.aspx?p=vista32/common-vista32

NOTE: the ATI web site only lists the 2600 as PCIe and not AGP, but these drivers should still work just fine....

    Good luck!
